About the project

I am Kantautė Augaitytė - the founder of the Baltic Interior project. Real estate and home interiors have always been one of the most interesting areas, but I never got into them until I started working in real estate. I had to visit many apartments and houses, but only units stuck in my memory. I realized that what used to be a political goal has now become a modern fashion. Same colors everywhere, same interior details, modern and cold.
I was more and more surprised when I saw a unique detail somewhere or wooden furniture or wood details - it was so unique, so cozy and as if close. But I also had another weakness - handmade products. I was surprised by the beauty and uniqueness of the works, I always bought something unique, the jewelry and clothes in the closet became extremely unique.
At the fairs, I was even heartbroken by how much work and effort people put into their work, I watched their glowing eyes when they talked about their products, I realized that it has so much meaning not only for the creator, but also for the buyer. I realized that I don't want people's handiwork to fade or disappear.
Then one day an idea was born. "How I would like to gather many creators of our country in one place, so that they can sell their products and show them to the whole world," I said then. We have so much heritage, such an old language, such strong faith and perseverance, such industrious hands - look how much we have created. I didn't want to sell mass-produced products, I wanted to sell something created by individual people who do it because they love what they do. I wanted others to learn about our culture. We may not appreciate what we have, but even something as simple as amber is almost only left in our Baltic Sea. What we are accustomed to others is an undiscovered innovation.
Therefore, I invite everyone who wants to join, maybe you have an idea? maybe you want to contribute to the development? Are you a developer? Or are you just looking for something unique?
